The company says AMP technology will allow users to interact with their email in a more dynamic, more interactive way. They will be able to schedule an appointment, fill out questionnaires and interact with websites and much more, from within email.

Google has announced that its email service, Gmail, will be updated with Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) technology later this year. The company says it will allow developers to make the service more attractive, interactive and dynamic, including the “actionable email experience”. This will basically enable users to browse the website from within the email. AMP is an open source framework originally designed for fast loading of web pages on mobile phones.

Akash Sahni, Gmail’s product manager, gives an example of how technology can be applied to Gmail. He wrote in a Google blog post, “Imagine being able to complete tasks directly via email. With AMP for Email, you’ll be able to take steps such as submitting an RSVP to an event, scheduling an appointment or filling out a questionnaire directly from an email message. Many people rely on emails for flights, events, news, shopping and outside information বেশি over 270 billion emails are sent every day! AMP makes it easy for emails to keep information up-to-date, so emails never get stale and the content is accurate when the user sees it. “

Google says some companies like Pinterest, Booking.com and Doodle are already working to create new experiences for customers using AMP for email. As mentioned above, Gmail will have AMP support later this year, and technology features for email will be available from today. Interested developers can sign up here to get a preview access to AMP for email in Gmail, and since the technology is open-source, you need to see how other email clients will receive it.

Google will host its I / O event in May 2018 and is expected to unveil Android P, the next iteration of the Android OS. A new report tips that the new OS will come with enhanced support for devices with foldable, multiple and a notched new display design. It will be completely redesigned and is said to be designed to entice customers from Apple. The company is also reportedly considering linking Google Assistant directly to the search bar on the home screen of Android phones.
