OxygenOS 4.5.0, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users will experience some of the features found in the company’s flagship OnePlus 5. The update brings shots to the OnePlus watermark and new wallpapers.
OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.5.0 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. The update brings some of the features seen in Open Beta, which was launched earlier this month.
With the latest update, the company is bringing OnePlus Watermark shots to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T’s camera software. The update brings a new wallpaper with watermarks to the gallery and a redesigned image editor. With OxygenOS 4.5.0, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T get support for a lift-up display feature, which may not be as good as always in display. The company is adding support for network speeds in status bars and low priority notifications.
The update brings gaming do not disturb mode which prevents OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users from playing their favorite games. The file manager now comes with a secure box for storing sensitive files. The update brings scheduled Night Mode and the new OnePlus Slate font.
Other improvements introduced with the update include redesigned dash charge animation and calling UI. The update offers improvements to system stability and battery life. OnePlus recently brought the OxygenOS Open Beta with the latest August security patches for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The company rolled out OxygenOS 4.5.10 for its new flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone late last month.
The new OxygenOS 4.5.0 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T is still based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and the update is currently being rolled out as an over-the-air (OTA) update. Android 8.0 Oreo will be the last big update for these two devices.
