The Honor 7X is priced at Rs 11,999 now

Honor 7X also received an EMUI 8.0 update to Android 8.0 Oreo that adds an AR lens to the camera app so users can add effects to images before they click.
Honor has announced a price reduction of Rs 1,000 for both variants of the Honor 7X smartphone. As a result, the 32GB variant will be available at Rs 11,999 and the 64GB variant will be priced at Rs 14,999. Both variants will be available on Amazon from June 25 EMI and exchange offers for Honor 7X are also available on Amazon The phones were previously available at Rs 12,999 (32GB) and Rs 15,999 (64GB). In addition to the price reduction, the smartphone has also received the EMUI 8.0 update for Honor 7X in India. Based on Android Orio, the update brings new features like Face Unlock, Game Suite, Ride Mode and AR Lens.

In March, the Honor 7X got Face Unlock feature via HOTA (Huawei’s over-the-air update). In May, the company introduced gaming mode where the phone is automatically optimized for an enhanced gaming experience. There was also a power saving mode where the phone would be optimized for improved battery life. Smart Mode optimizes the phone depending on current usage and automatically balances power consumption and performance.
In addition, the ride mode has been updated. The feature notifies the caller that the user is currently riding and cannot answer the call. Users will be able to enjoy the AR lens as part of a new update to the Camera app and add effects to the image before clicking on the image. Users can also assign a specific fingerprint to the Paytm app, which will send them directly to the Paytm Payments section.
To remember, the Honor 7X smartphone has a 5.93-inch touchscreen display with 1080 x 2160 pixel display resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core high-silicon Kirin 659 processor with 4GB of RAM, and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
The device has a 16MP + 2MP dual-rear camera and an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. It is powered by a 3340 mAh non-removable battery. The Honor 7X is available in red, black, blue and gold.
