What’s new in Windows 10 (20H2)?

Edge browser now has Alt + Tab support. It comes with a redesigned start menu. The notifications have been redesigned and are now called Toast.
The Microsoft Windows 10 October 2020 update (also called 20H2 in the internal preview) is now available to everyone. It offers several new features, including a more compatible Chromium-based Edge browser. You can find a lot here.
The update has already begun to roll out on Windows PCs, but there is a thorough verification process for PC hardware to get it.
There are more updates specifically for business and education installations, which require more in-depth management and security options. You can read more about them on the Microsoft Tech Community site.
Edge update:
A new feature of this update for the Edge browser is the more seamless integration of the browser into the OS. Alt-Tab key combinations can now be used to switch between tabs.
Other updates include pinning sites and shopping. Now, when you pin a site to the taskbar, hovering the mouse cursor over its icon shows all the open tabs of that site.
Start menu:
The new design has a more consistent look and adds some clarity to the menu, so you have an idea of what’s underneath. Visual changes to redesign the new icon and picking color theme accents from the background. It supports both light and dark themes.
New Notification:
The Action Center on the right side of the screen displays notifications from the apps you set up. The new design makes them even clearer, with notifications coming from the app in the upper-left corner of the notification, also known as Toast.
Smooth conversion to tablet mode:
Tablet mode increases the space between taskbar icons, replaces search boxes with search icons, optimizes file explorer windows for touch, and improves touch usage. If you have a convertible device like the Surface Book, you no longer have to worry about the “Do you want to switch to tablet mode” notification.
Settings app:
Microsoft has been talking for a long time about moving the Legacy Control Panel to the Settings app, and in this update, we see some of those changes.
Reset from the cloud:
As the name implies, this will allow the PC to download the new OS from the cloud and perform a clean install without the need for physical installation media.
How to update Windows 10:
The update is available to users of selected devices running Windows 10, version 1903 or later who are interested in enjoying the latest feature updates and are ready to install this release on their device.
You can manually check for updates by selecting Windows Settings -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Check for updates.
