IPhone users with WhatsApp Beta can send disappearing photos, videos and text. Photos and videos will disappear on WhatsApp once viewed.

WhatsApp is bringing an invisible message for iOS in the 2.21.140.9 beta update from TestFlight. If you have the same version and still can’t see or access the missing message feature, don’t panic. WhatsApp is launching this feature and you will find it in the next beta update.

The name of the new feature is officially called “Take a Look”. Beta testers can send photos and videos to WhatsApp that will disappear once viewed. In order for this to work, both the sender and the recipient must have this feature. Meanwhile, disappearing text messages will take up to 7 days to expire.

WhatsApp’s invisible text feature is similar to Instagram’s. One key difference is that Instagram allows users to replay photos and videos at the user’s direction. WhatsApp, on the other hand, will delete media once viewed, according to official data.
